From an elevated tee, the dogleg right 350m Par 4 is guarded on the right corner with thick trees. A water hazard awaits long drives that go left. The fairway is a must from the tee to the green. Even from the fairway this is a tricky approach to the undulating green guarded by bunkers front left and back right. and if the wind is helping you will most likely end up over the swale down the back of the green leaving a testing chip shot.
Dogleg right 453m Par 5, with the winding creek up the left and dense trees on the right, hitting the fairway is a must if you want to take advantage of this accessible Par 5. The approach to the green is uphill and easy to misjudge distance. Once you get to the green the putter needs be working on this very large two-tiered green which slopes right to left toward the valley on the side of the green.
Downhill 175m Par 3 with trouble looming, bunkers in front, to the left and long makes it a very daunting tee shot from a large flat hitting area, but with the breeze anything right and a little long will get swallowed by our enormous dam only metres over the back edge of the green.
A 392m Par 4 has a scary tee shot, staring straight down at the three fairway bunkers and the mass of water to your left, you need your best to get the ball in this fairway, to set you up for the difficult long second shot to this long narrow green guarded by more bunkers. With no bail out on this green, your missed shot will most definitely be a long bunker shot or a very tough chip back up the hill from the left to this elevated green.
Good solid 159m Par 3, heavily bunkered front and sides and a drop off the back into the pond punishing those players who over club. The undulating tiered green ensures that not too many birdies are had on this tough Par 3.
Short 295m Par 4 reachable for the big hitters, but don't be too casual the approach to this elevated green will test you with a large ridge running from the front middle to the back left portion of the green, being on the wrong side with slick green will leave your work cut out for your par.
Extremely tight tee shot from this tucked away 473m Par 5 tee block out of bounds left and right ensures that if you don't get in play off the tee you'll be writing down a big number. Over a slight ridge into a gully before it doglegs left around the pine tree to once again a heavily bunkered green. The uphill approach makes it tough to get the right yardage to the very large two-tiered green, long putts are certain if you misjudge this approach, many a 3 putt has been had on this green.
Tight driving hole, this 378m Par 4 has thick trees left and right all the way to the green, down hill tee shot which must be in play in order to access the green for your uphill approach to an elevated green. Missing this green ensures your short game will be tested, a miss left will catch the bunker, and anything right will be a tricky down hill chip to the elevated green. Par is a great score on the 4th hardest rated hole on this course.
Delicate little 129m Par 3, not long but trouble looms if you don't hit the putting surface. The green is littered with bunkers in front, left, right side and long, make it a tough up and down to another elevated green. Don't take it too easy, this short Par 3 can soon turn into a major blemish on your scorecard.
Straight 336m Par 4, with bunkers in driving range left and right side, your tee shot needs to be left of centre to get the best line in to the narrow angled green, the green angles from front left to back right, so an approach from the right side of the fairway dramatically narrows your landing area and brings the two very well positioned green side bunkers into play.
A gradual climb up to the green of this 465m Par 5, must be in fairway or right side from the tee, anything left will almost definitely result in a lost ball in the thick tree/bush. Fairway bunker comes into play about 60m from the green, the best play is a lay up short of these so you can attack the shot in to the sloped green. The bigger hitters may want to take it on for their 2nd shot, but around the green is a tough shot, slopped away from the elevated green on both side, testing your chipping ability.
Any tee shot left in the trees on this 552m Par 5 will ensure you reload and hit another. Best position is centre right to open up fairway as it doglegs left, do your best to avoid the large tree in the middle of the fairway about 60m from the green. Make sure you have the right yardage aiming into this hole as the green is large and with the wrong shot you will be staring at a difficult two putt.
Difficult, long 209m Par 3. Any shot on or very near the putting surface is a bonus, with two large bunkers to catch anything short right. All in all a very challenging hole.
Short dogleg left 355m Par 4, between two fairway bunkers, placement is everything on this tee shot. Either lay up short or between the bunkers or you can try and rip one over the left trap around the corner to considerably shorten the hole, leaving only a wedge or less in for your approach, large green with ridge running through the middle and slope at the back.
Long sweeping 400m Par 4 right hander over the hill, tee shot needs to be down the left side opening up the green for a clear shot in, the right side and trees on the right will definitely result in a chip out and a drop shot. This green is testing, the approach is down hill and mostly hard to pull the ball up before going over the green to the bunker or worse, the out of bounds lingering only metres over the edge. Also the three greenside bunkers make this a daunting approach shot.
Blind tee shot on this long 410m Par 4, if the wind is up be prepared to have a mid to long iron in for your second, all the more reason to get the ball in play. The approach to the green has you staring at greenside bunkers left and right and the presence of out of bounds post only metres left of the greenside trap on the left, long undulating green to test out that putting feel and control.
Straight away 356m Par 4 uphill to very steep sloping green, downhill from back to front, all the trouble in the world can be hard on this green, if there was ever a shot that must be left below the hole this is it. If the greens are shaved short you will have plenty of putting practise here if you put your ball in the wrong spot.
Down hill from the tee, on this finishing 365m Par 4 your ball will be landing on the upslope of the fairway leaving an uphill and slightly blinded tee shot in to the bunker, guarded green. Hard to get the correct yardage, and a long shot is punished by a difficult uphill chip back, it's a small green, so a good shot in should see you with a birdie opportunity.
