BackgroundIt
is common knowledge that most of Australia's leading international golf
professionals learnt their trade playing Pro-Am events throughout
Australasia. Today the Pro-Am circuits are still seen as a breeding
ground for our developing talent. The diversity of courses and
conditions experienced on the tour are crucial to the development of
shot making skills inherent in our best players.
The QLD
Sunshine Tour offers opportunities of corporate exposure to the large
number of people that play the game. It provides an opportunity for
sponsors to network and entertain special clients in a relaxed
atmosphere, with the unique experience of playing with a professional
golfer.
Oxley Golf Club is staging our first Pro-Am on the QLD
Sunshine Tour since 1987, with previous events attracting players such
as Terry Price, Marcus Cain, Ossie Moore & Michael Wright. Oxley
Golf Club is a true test of golf boasting an 18 hole championship golf
course and a range of outstanding dining & entertaining options,
with the recent accolade of hosting the 2010 Australian Mens Interstate
Series.
