BUNKERS
Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions (Rule 24-1 Applies)
BUNKER RAKES
All Bunker Rakes are to be placed outside the bunkers parallel to the line of play
ABNORMAL GROUND CONDITIONS: Rule 25
Relief may be obtained from the following in accordance with the above rule:
- Areas marked with white paint
- Deco edges on new concrete pathways
- Clearly defined wheel ruts caused by course machinery
- Wire baskets guarding trees
- Ceremony Area (Compulsory GUR)
- Bare Patches on 1st, 2nd & 12th Holes
- 12th Hole Mounds - Interference from a "Hole Made by Greenkeeper"
- New Pathway Constructions
BARK / MULCH
All bark areas and mounds are an integral part of the course
DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES
For all play at this course a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. However, if during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g. gradient, wind-speed, temperature, etc), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional functions are actually used.
OUT OF BOUNDS (OOB) - 7TH HOLE
A Ball Hit when playing the 7th Hole finishing onto a section of the 8th Fairway will be deemed OOB. The 8th Fairway is lined with OUT OF BOUNDS stakes and extends on both sides of the 8th fairway from the 100 metre marker to 30 metres short of the front of the ladies forward 8th tee. Play will be in accordance with Decision on Rule 24/5 - "Boundary Stakes having No Significance in Play of Hole Being Players" i.e. No Relief can be obtained from the OOB Stakes whilst playing the 7th hole, conversely if playing the 8th relief may be obtained.
SMALL TREES & SHRUBS
- All tress & shrubs under the height of one Club length (except for native grasses on barked areas): Should a small tree or shrub interfere with the players stance or the arc of their intended swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty and dropped in accordance with the procedure prescribed in Rule 24-2b(i) Immovable Obstruction. The ball may be cleaned when so lifted
DROP ZONE - 9TH HOLE
If a players ball finishes in the area West of the Orange Line to the putting green, such a ball has to be picked up, without penalty, and dropped in an adjacent dropping zone labeled DZ (DZ = Drop Zone).
17TH HOLE: DEFINING OF OUT OF BOUNDS (OOB)
OOB on the 17th Hole starts at the fence next to the Mens 17th tee and continues to the end of the fence protecting the Buggy Sheds, at the end of the fence Markers provide a line of out of bounds back to the property line of the Golf Course
DROP ZONE - 18TH HOLE
If a ball hit from the 18th is at rest in the ceremony area, such ball has to be picked up, without penalty and dropped in the same drop zone as the 9th hole.
